A priority consideration when designing the adapter was that the pressure sensor should be positioned as close as possible to the combustion chamber to prevent interference from pipe oscillations.
The fact that customers can de-install the sensor themselves makes that these sensor/adapter combinations highly flexible in terms of use in different adapters, thus ensuring high cost-efficiency.
Glow plug adapters are modified for each customer separately to match the glow plug bore and therefore enjoy a very low failure rate. The spark plug adapters are available with different heat ranges, thread lengths and spark positions to guarantee that the dimensions and ignition properties are compatible with the original plug.
