Dyno Control Unit BME 400The quality of measurement results depends on the accuracy, dynamics and stability of the control system. The Dyno Control Unit BME 400 provides all the necessary hardware and software for monitoring and controlling hydraulic, eddy current and AC dynamometers from AVL including all auxiliary devices and engine controller.
The Dyno Control Unit BME 400 is used on quality control test beds (e.g. performance, consumption, emissions) as well as in research and development (e.g. function and endurance testing, ECU calibration). Due to its scalable design, Dyno Control Unit BME 400 can be upgraded to a Test Rig Control Unit EMCON 400.

- Dyno Control Unit BME 400 can be upgraded to a Test Rig Control Unit EMCON 400
- Precision operation due to high control accuracy and control dynamics over the entire operating range
- User-friendly operation thanks to ergonomic design of the operating panel and flexible menu-guided parametrization
- Lower training costs because all load machines have same operating philosophy
- Extension to various control tasks possible by using AVL FEM
|
- Control and monitoring of a load unit
- Real-time control system running at 500 Hz
- Data acquisition via FEM-CON and FEM-DIO
- Standard dyno interfaces to all AVL dynos (all other dynos on request)
- Remote interface using RS232 (CAN and hybrid on request)
- Interface to throttle actuator, clutch actuator, gear shift robot using RS232 (other interface on request)
- Demand value setting via 3 incremental pulse encoders
- LCD display for visualization of demand values, actual values, parameters and messages
