Advanced Simulation Technology

Advanced simulation technologies offer simulation software products and analysis technology for powertrain engineering.

The key to the successful development of new technologies is the computer-aided simulation of NVH, flow and combustion processes. Due to the vast range of variables in modern powertrain systems and the highly complex interplay of all components, it is no longer possible to identify the parameters influencing durability, vibration behaviour and acoustics, fuel consumption and emissions without the aid of sophisticated simulations.

AVL's simulation software products offer highly reliable results.

For reliable output, validation of software is very important. Physical models in our products are validated with vast range of experimental data measured in the AVL laboratories equipped with latest instrument.

Our experienced customer support engineers will solve problems that customers face not only about software usage but about powertrain development.

Services

We offer highly reliable analysis performed by experienced engineers using AVL's powertrain development know-how.

Analysis includes mesh generation, setting of boundary conditions, calculation, result analysis (including comprehensive report and movies). CFD analysis includes in-cylinder gas motion, fuel spray behavior, mixture formation, combustion, flow in a water cooling jacket, thermal analysis coupled with FEM software, and a lot more.

We provide vast range of service from mesh generation, design optimization to engine development including consultation.

Traning and Seminars

We offer software training on demand basis. Both standard training as well as customized one are available. Customized training is designed to meet any individual needs, at any user level. Training room is available for up to 20 people. On-site training is also available.
