The main role of the AST group in PEI is to provide hotline support to the growing number of local AVL software users. Regular training classes and workshops are held in the onsite training facility equipped with state of the art computer workstations.
Performing application projects using AVL software is also done on a daily basis. This experience, together with the support from the Engine Development team guarantees that current expertise is available to clients.
There is a local software development group which develops the unique cavitation and multiphase flow modules for AVL CFD codes (FIRE).
