Decreasing fuel consumption and emissions and, at the same time, improving fun-to-drive of modern vehicles is a challenge that requires the use of advanced powertrain control. In order to provide solutions in the shortest time possible, AVL has established a model-based development process with extensive use of rapid prototyping tools.
