The prototype and later the production intent detail design is based on the 3D engine layout model, including component and assembly drawings.
The production requirements (including of the suppliers) are evaluated throughout the detail design process in view of meeting the defined system function. This results in fully production compatible drawings including all information on geometry, critical dimensions, tolerances, grading, materials, treatments, surface finish and production requirements such as first targeting, clamping, assembly specifications. All critical quality requirements including cleanliness, leakage tests, surface protection measures and necessary test procedures are documented.
Customer drawing standards are strictly followed for a smooth integration in the customer's systems.
