Our role is to ensure that the design concept is production viable when taking the individual project boundary conditions into account.
AVL's team of production engineers work both on AVL's site and increasingly on the customers site supporting the demands of existing and new model introductions.
Both the customer and their suppliers are subject to process audits (e.g. casting processes, machining, assembly, parts logistics).
Stand alone projects such as engine cost down, quality improvement programmes and training courses etc. are also undertaken. Our motto is "From concept through to volume production and beyond".
