The review of the customers layout design by AVL experts is focused on the intended functionality, identifying critical design features, and highlighting alternative design solutions where necessary.
Detail design reviews include checking the basic geometry, tolerances, material and definitions of heat treatment, surface roughness, form and position tolerances. The tolerance chains of critical parts and systems are evaluated and assessed by statistical process control. The drawings are fully checked for completeness in view of functionality and producibility.
