Within more than 50 years of experience in durability testing, AVL has developed sets of durability test standards for all key engine types and applications. Imbedded into engine development programs or also as a stand-alone service AVL offers to carry out such test bed endurance tests either according to own procedures ore following customer’s standards.
Due to the wide scope of design and development competencies, AVL does not only offer to run tests but a complete service package including engine strip and inspection, assessment of results and also to work-out recommendations for improvements to overcome non satisfying test results.
Under the titles "Accelerated Durability Testing" and " LOAD MATRIX" AVL has developed an advanced methods for the optimization of validation programs for engines and complete powertrains.
