Vehicle Calibration for Driveability

Customer Requirements

For brand differentiation purposes individual driveability calibration with respect to emission targets, fuel consumption, climatic conditions and market specific demands is required. In gasoline calibration different fuel qualities have to be considered as well.

A big number of vehicle derivatives with different gearbox concepts and chassis variants have to be considered. This requires an integrated view of the complete vehicle and all its sub-systems. Due to limited ressources and development time all synergy effects have to be utilized. An easy and consistent calibration data management through the complete development process is mandatory.
