AVL has a wide experience in the design of engine components. This can either be a new design of a component in the course of an engine update or a component re-design for reasons of strength, durability, or production cost reduction.
Retrofit requirements are taken into account. Component design is assisted by Design and structural analysis, CFD analysis is applied where appropriate.
Design work is performed in the customer's in-house CAD system for easy data transfer.
