SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

The PII 860 Smart Interface allows reading of a frequency signal (TTL) from flow sensors and a RS232 (ASCII) signal from a density sensor.

This module calculates volumetric and mass flow rates in selectable physical units. Statistical data is also provided (Mean Value and Standard Deviation are based on last ten measurements). The data is displayed on a two- line 20 character VF-display and can be provided as analog signal and/or as ASCII signal through a serial COM port using the optional AK-Protocol.

With a Windows® based setup program the user can easily change the Calibration Factor (Kd-Number) and also the scaling of the analog output channels as well as the PII860's setup.
