AVL PLU 110 Universal Flow MeterThe AVL PLU 110 is a high-performance flow meter for standard fuels including alcohol mixtures. It is used to measure the fuel consumption on engine and roller dynamometers in the areas of research, development, production and component testing.
Apart from the operation on engine and roller dynamometers this flow meter is also suitable for fuel consumption measurement for small consumptions. This flow meter measures the volumetric consumption within very short measurement times, precisely with continuous Measurement and without pressure drop (Δp = 0) between inlet and outlet.
Two flow rates of (0.03) 0.1 up to 10 l/h and (0.03) 0.1 up to 45 l/h are available.
The factory default calibration is based on test beds that have been certified by the German Federal Institute for Physics and Technology (PTB). Therefore the measurement results are traceable to national standards.
MAIN APPLICATION AREASThe measuring system performs the following fundamental functions:
- Fuel consumption measurements for small engines (e.g. two wheelers, motor saws)
