Angle Encoder 365XHigh-precision acquisition of angle marksThe Angle Encoder 365X is a highly accurate optical pick-up for angle-based indicating measurements and torsional analyses on IC engines. The robust Angle Encoder has proved its worth in very tough single-cylinder research engines, small engines such as sawing machines and in high-revving sports engines. Every change in engine speed, whether for dynamic measurement or start test, is precision-acquired. AVL Angle Encoders are the only ones on the market in which the pick-up and the electronics are physically separated, because this is the best way to handle the high load and electrical interference on the test bed over a long period of time even at extremely high speeds – n > 24,000 rpm.

Angle Encoder Set 365X – The Individual Customer SolutionThe optical AVL Angle Encoder 365X ensures precision-assignment of measurement value to deg. CA even when mounted on the drivetrain between the engine and the dynamometer. This Angle Encoder works on the “transmission light principle” which makes the system immune to interference from scattered light and therefore increases the signal quality.
