Test Results

Tests were performed on steady state test bed to demonstrate potential for:

  • Full load operation
  • Part Load (homogeneous λ=1)
  • 20% efficiency improvement due to stratified operation
  • in total up to 40% reduction in CO2 emission compared to homogeneous gasoline λ=1operation
  • overall very low NOx-emission level
  • In complete engine map very wide range for stable combustion parameters
  • significantly higher low end torque compared to CNG manifold injection
