AVL Dedicated Trainings

These AVL training classes are arranged for a single customer organization with respect to their individual skill levels as well as the demanded applications.

To focus on individual skill levels of the participants the training classes are identified as Basic or Advanced courses. Basic (level 1) to develop specific skills for functionality and operation of the systems. Advanced (level 2) to develop specific skills for parameterisation and application of the systems. AVL pays high attention to achieve the training goal shown in the course description. Customer specific issues can be discussed and handled by the trainer within the group on confidential basis.

To achieve the training goal the maximum number of participants is limited and the current skills level of the participants needs to be considered in advance. Please check the required prerequisites in the course description carefully before selecting a training class. If not specifically stated all training classes can be conducted on site or at AVL. If the training class is conducted on site the client has to provide sufficiently installed and commissioned equipment for practical exercises. For training classes at AVL we provide drinks and lunch for the participants. Depending on clients demand the training date and venue are going to be defined as an agreement between AVL and client.

AVL Open Trainings

These standard AVL training classes are arranged for participants of various customer with common interest for knowledge development. This kind of training classes are a well established platform for many customers to meet colleagues with similar interests in one and the same training class. The training goal and content are well defined to address the common demand of participants of various customer on high degree. Training date and venue are fixed. Open training classes will be carried out if a minimum of four (4) students are enrolled (max. 6).

Web-Based Training

Web based training classes have been evaluated over the last years and specifically designed as an add-on for instructor led training classes. It is used as an assessment and preparation procedure for the trainees before they participate a certain training class. In an instructor led training class “web based training” is used to guide the trainees through the exercises beside their daily training activities. Routine handling information is shown on video clips and references lead into available documentation to deepen the knowledge or to justify uncertainty during daily operation. Examinations to achieve an AVL certificate are mainly carried out by means of e-assessment. As a service on request we provide Web-based seminars (Webinar) for customers who want to brush up their knowledge or to address specific topics few weeks after participation of an AVL training class.
