Optimum utilisation of test beds with minimum administration costs are key criteria in test facility management. AVL`s host solutions for highly productive test facilities make test results reliably available to all users at all times.

The PUMA Host Software is designed to network multiple PUMA Automation Systems in one area to create a single test facility. The PUMA data model allows to maintain shared data, such as channel names, units under test, test descriptions and even calculation formulas and fuel data, consistently and centrally.

PUMA automatically transfers measurement results to the host immediately after each measurement. Data evaluation can therefore be started even while the test is still running. The entire process from starting the automatic test on PUMA to printing out reports and diagrams with AVL CONCERTO can also be automated from beginning to end.

At the heart of the system, the AVL PUMA Host Software uses proven standards such as the SANTORIN Server, OracleTM database, Windows and TCP/IP.
