AVL SHEDAVL Variable Temperature Sealed Housing Evaporative Determination - SHEDIncreasingly higher demands within the field of automotive emissions testing involve complete Vehicle Evaporative Emissions Analysis.
A major part of the environmental hydrocarbon impact is caused by vehicle fuel evaporation, mainly via the fuel system of the vehicle. For certification and development tests gas tight SHED chambers are needed, to be able to measure these emissions according to standard methods (e.g. Europe: EEC-norms, USA: EPA, CARB).
The AVL SHED equipment complies with all the latest regulations, as follows:
