GR14D is an uncooled piezoelectric pressure sensor of the dimension M5x0,5 based on AVL’s exclusive piezoelectric crystal GaPO4. Due to its active acceleration compensation in axial direction the GR14D is particularly suitable for racing applications. The built-in acceleration compensation minimizes all interfering influences like they appear e.g. at inlet valve closing. The outstanding thermodynamic characteristics point out the GR14D’s applicability for extreme conditions concerning pressure and temperature.
In order to reduce the influence of the piezoelectric cable on the measurement results a new super low noise cable is used.
