Environment Policy AVL List Nordiska ABProtecting the environment is an important issue for AVL List Nordiska AB. We are committed to act in the interests of environmental sustainability and our goal is to optimise all our activities so that they do not, or only minimally, have a negative affect on the environment. We will reach the goal by continuously improve environmental protection in all our operational areas.
The Environmental Management System is defined by the management of AVL List Nordiska AB whose duty is to at least once every year check how well the Environmental Policy is being implemented.
AVL List Nordiska AB has published its Environmental Policy detailed below and made it compulsory for all members of staff in each individual area of influence in which they work.
- All members of the staff will receive regular training and/or information to promote a sense of environmental awareness and responsibility.
- Environmental aspects shall be taken into awareness direct in the planning stage of all our activities.
- The application and further development of all environment sparing methods is to be constantly advanced. Preventive measures must be taken to minimise pollution, save resources, prevent environmental accidents and minimise their negative effects on the environment (in both normal and non-normal operations).
- One employee will be assigned to monitor the Environment Management System and thereby ensure that specific measures are implemented if environmental targets are not achieved.
- AVL List Nordiska AB undertakes to comply with all legislation, directives and requirements stipulated by various authorities.
- Precautions will be taken to ensure that suppliers, customers and subcontractors working in our facilities are aware of the Environmental Policy and follow it.
- AVL Management is requested to set an example.
