AVL PLU 116H Universal Flow MeterThe AVL PLU 116H is a high-performance flow meter for liquid media including alcohols and alcohol mixtures. The flow meter is used to measure the fuel consumption on engine and chassis dynamometers in the areas of quality, endurance and production. Apart from these applications the AVL PLU 116H is also suitable for fuel consumption measurement on in-vehicle tests. This flow meter measures the volumetric consumption within very short measurement times, precisely with continuous Measurement and without pressure drop (Δp = 0) between inlet and outlet.
Flow rates of 0.3– 60 l/h, 0.6 - 120 l/h and 1.5 - 160 l/h are available.
The factory default calibration is based on test beds that have been certified by the German Federal Institute for Physics and Technology (PTB). Therefore the measurement results are traceable to national standards.
