TestGate™Web-based remote access to your test fieldTestGate™ provides a view browser different kinds of data from each test bed in the test field by just using a WEB browser and an Internet connection to the TestGate™ Server. At any point in time, the user can see the actual state of test beds, loaded parameters and values of quantities that are currently acquired on the test bed as well as result data in the ASAM ODS database. TestGate™ provides additional functionality such as hyperlinks, documents, and search functionality.
TestGate™ includes an ODS browser for showing the result data in the ASAM ODS database. The user can navigate to a channel and preview measurement data. TestGate™ is fully integrated into the PUMA test field security system which controls the permissions of the different users.

Scope of SupplyData storage TestGate configuration data is stored in Oracle database.
Prerequisites Windows 2003 Server, Internet Information Server 6.0, ASP.NET Framework 1.1.
Test field navigation Tree structure for visualizing test field structure (test beds and host systems) on one page.
Graphical representation of the test field structure.
Background images can be used in order to build specific pages reflecting company standards, etc.
PUMA specific data Online data of any system channels of each test bed.
Online test bed states (PUMA state such as Monitor, Manual, etc).
Currently loaded parameters.
Online test bed messages.
PUMA version, sub-release, build number, etc.
Administration data Information about PC, Oracle database, installation is available for each host and test bed:
Access to ODS measurement data.
Machine dependent data, such as CPU performance, memory usage, disk usage, event logs, etc. is provided.
Database data, such as used database size, etc. from Oracle system tables is provided. File-based interface for easy integration external system.
Log file access.
Traffic control system The overall amount of data the test bed can supply is configurable on the HOST to avoid performance loss on test beds due to high number of users or channels.
ODS browser ODS browser for navigating in the result data of the ASAM ODS database.
Additional functions Links, documents, FAQ, pictures, search.
Security ASAM ODS-based security integrated into the overall security administration of the test field (e.g. PUMA HOST).
TestGate administration has 3 security levels: general user, TestGate layout engineer and system administrator.
Multi-language The user can switch languages at login time. User messages are also delivered in the local language. Default languages: German and English. |
