With the AVL AFC Automatic Filter Changer - a filter loading and particulate sampling systems for dilution tunnels - AVL has moved another step closer to fully automatic testing. By enabling the filters to be changed automatically up to 14 times the test bed does not need to be entered so often while the engine is running.
The AVL AFC Automatic Filter Changer is an optional extension to the AVL 472 Smart Sampler.
