EMCON 400 Digital Controller Closed-loop control, control logic and safety monitoring are basic functions on every engine test bed. The quality of measurement results depends on the accuracy, dynamics and stability of the control system. The EMCON 400 dyno controller provides all the necessary hardware and software for the control and manual operation of an engine test bed with a dynamometer and combustion engine. In the EMCON 401 dyno controller configuration, the combustion engine can be tested together with the transmission.
The EMCON 400 series is used on quality control test beds (e.g. performance, consumption, emissions) as well as in research and development (e.g. function and endurance testing, ECU calibration). Due to its scalable design, the EMCON 400 dyno controller can be upgraded to the ISAC 400 full vehicle and driver simulation, suitable, for example, for race engine testing applications. The EMCON 400 series is also suitable for upgrading manual test beds.
