Experience Graz on Foot and in an Open Bus

In the course of the walk through the town, a guide will take you through the history of Graz from its ancient origins to present times. Experience a city center, the beauty and uniqueness of which was recognized by UNESCO in December 1999 through the awarding of world cultural heritage status. Discover the highlights of Graz with its picturesque courtyards and narrow alleys, conveying a southern European flair. Of course, this tour will also take you to the sites of European Cultural Capital 2003, such as the Kunsthaus gallery. Lunch will be at one of the many lovely restaurants and afterwards you can enjoy more of the cultural capital from the vantage point of an open bus. The afternoon will be filled with a walk through the park and planet garden of Schloss Eggenberg palace, a visit to the ornamented rooms and then a refreshment break at the Pavilion in the park. At the end of the day you can enjoy a few of the many shopping opportunities in the center of town.

Cookery and Cocktail Class with Award-Winning Chef

Be inspired and let Richard Rauch, Austria’s youngest award-winning chef, teach you some tricks and finesses of gourmet cuisine. Richard will illustrate how to plan the preparation of meals perfectly, how and where you can buy the right ingredients and he will certainly share lot of tips with you that only a real pro can offer. In the afternoon a top barkeeper will teach you how to treat your guests and yourself to some delightful cocktails. You will learn interesting facts about ingredients and preparation and will have a chance to practice what you have learned about mixing classic cocktails, including of course tasting your masterpieces.
