Global & Local Modelling with the new Generation of CAMEO SoftwareGlobal data modelling with CAMEO V3CAMEO global model generator software is the latest version of CAMEO to come from the software labs at AVL, the world’s largest independent engine and powertrain research establishment. The software is the result of collaborations with major automotive manufacturers and contains all the best-in-class features in design of experiments and statistical data evaluation required to create global and local models of engine and powertrain behaviour.
The CAMEO global model generator software has been designed based on feedback from users in the automotive industry and now boasts an intuitive workflow based user interface.
Key Features- Reflecting the ECU calibration workflow. The CAMEO global model generator breaks the process of ECU calibration into manageable work steps, each containing a guided workflow with as much visual representation of information as possible.
- Modular and open software. The innovative concept of the CAMEO global model generator software allows engineers to very easily implement their own modelling, optimization or map generation algorithms into CAMEO. The user software is invoked by clicking the MyPlugin icon, which can be renamed as required.
- Raw data analysis for checking the DoE design, the design constraints, data plausibility, outlier identification & suppression.
- Global and local modelling for gasoline and diesel powertrains.
- Optimization algorithms to maximize or minimize a function. The function can be a mathematical expression formulated in the new formula editor. The constraints for the optimizer can also be defined as formulae or be outputs of 3D maps or be the design space. The optimizer is able to use either global or local models to find operating point related optima.
The interfacesThe CAMEO global model generator boasts several interfaces:- Import/export interface for measurement data and test parameters
- Ability to read from an ASAM-ODS database
- Plug-in programming interface
- Powerpoint report generation interface
