Battery Simulator (BTS-BS)AVL Battery Simulators (BTS-BS) are designed for calibration, validation and optimization of electric motors and hybrid powertrains with different simulated energy storage systems.
The battery simulators are fully integrated into the development process of HEVs.
Identification measurements of different battery technologies are taken on the AVL Battery Testbed (BTS-BT). Based on these identification measurements it is possible to model and parameterize the AVL Battery Simulator (BTS-BS) models. The customer has the choice to use simple or advanced battery models.
