History

AVL Emission Test Systems GmbH

2004

PEUS-System GmbH and PIERBURG Instruments GmbH merge. The former emissions division of AVL List GmbH in Graz is integrated organizationally. Sales and service are handled by the worldwide AVL subsidiaries. Development of a new product generation (iGeneration) commences.

2005

The production of PEUS-Systems GmbH is moved from Eisenberg (Thüringen) to the manufacturing location in Neuss. The firm moves into a new office and manufacturing building, and a high-quality industrial production is established. Production of special measurement technology (SESAM FTIR) is transferred to Gaggenau.

2006

The fusion of PEUS-Systems GmbH and Pierburg Instruments GmbH is formally concluded; the companies are merged to form AVL Emission Test Systems. The merged company has an installed base of 1300 emissions measuring systems, 150 SESAM FTIR systems, 415 CVS systems, 372 particulate samplers, and more than 400 emission automation systems.

2007

The first iGeneration product lines are launched (AMA i60, CVS i60 and PSS). Product launch for Europe in May at the Testing Expo in Stuttgart; worldwide rollout starts in the fall in China and the USA.
