How to ApplyAVL' s application procedure has been designed so as to guarantee an efficient application process. If there is no suitable position advertised, send us an open application. It will be forwarded to the department of interest and your data will be kept in up-to-date for one year. Still, we recommend that you check our job advertisements regularly, since AVL frequently adds new placements.

Your Responsibility - Advertised Jobs
If you are applying for a position that is currently advertised in our career opportunities list, you can directly apply on-line by clicking onto the on-line application button on the left hand side of the page your position is advertised in. Fill in the details you are being asked for, and ensure that all relevant information is being provided. If you do not want to apply on-line, you can download the application form and send it to the respective HR departments together with your CV and a copy of your transcripts. or send your CV and cover letter. (Addresses can be found on the general AVL homepage)
- Open Applications
It is possible to apply for a position at AVL even though there are no suitable positions advertised at the moment. In this case, you can either create an open application on-line or send the downloaded application form by mail. Items to be added in either case are your CV and a copy of transcripts, as well as a writing explaining what position or division you are interested in.
Our Responsibility - Stage 1
Once we have received your application form and details you will be contacted by mail or telephone.
- Stage 2
Having reached stage 2 in our selection process means that your qualifications will be examined by specialists of the field you are applying for. We will make sure that your interests and qualifications are dealt with by the right person.
- Stage 3
You will be invited to a personal interview and/ or group discussion. Please note that at any stage of our selection procedure, we might inform you that we currently cannot offer you a suitable position. Please, do not be discouraged. This does not necessarily imply that your qualifications are not sufficient. There might be other opportunities for you later.
