CAD Design and Accompanying Simulation

During the design phase the design work and the simulation work are closely linked to each other. AVL aims for a frontloading approach by using simulation in a very early stage of the project in order to avoid major design changes during the later status of a project.

CAD Layout- and Detail Design

The CAD layout- and detail design of parts, components and assemblies is performed with advanced 3D CAD systems such as Pro Engineer, Catia and UniGraphics.

Advanced Analysis and Simulation

Software packages, many developed in - house at AVL, are utilized to accelerate the development process and to secure final product features meeting the requirements of capabilities.
