At the main site in Plymouth, the test facility is dedicated to development tasks, typically requiring more complex engine set-ups and using a range of emission and combustion analysis instrumentation. Twelve engines can be installed simultaneously, ranging from 50 hp to more than 600 hp, using gasoline, diesel and alternative fuels.
The test facility in Ann Arbor is set-up for development, durability, prototype, engine and powertrain validation testing. The facility includes 20 test sites, machining and fabrication shops in-house and advanced control and data acquistion systems.
