The AVL DynoWheel is a series of PM motors with extremely low inertia and high capabilities. They are suitable for use as wheel load units, with the benefit of having the same inertia as the real wheel. Like the DynoTrain, they are combined with matching motor inverters and mains converters especially developed for use on powertrain test beds.
