Diagnosis Calibration

Customer Requirements

On-board diagnosis application has a massive influence on the brand image, customer satisfaction and commercial success of a vehicle. Failure to comply can lead to product recall or large fines for the OEM, whilst incorrect diagnosis of proper working components can cause large costs for customer service and give risk for possible recalls.

The requirement is a robust diagnostic calibration that fulfils the manufacturer’s specific strategy whilst taking into account all influencing factors such as component tolerances, fuel quality variation, ageing and ambient conditions.

In addition, differences in particular markets’ legal requirements need to be observed. Diagnostics calibration has a significant influence on the timescale of the whole application. Therefore an approach that permits efficient, time-saving execution and a reduced number of test vehicles is necessary.

Services
