Additionally to the functions of the DC supply the AVL Battery Simulator™ is able to show on the output terminals the similar behavior as a real battery pack. For example: During a load step you can see the same voltage drop as on the real battery pack.
Identification measurements of different battery technologies are taken on the AVL Battery Tester™ (BTS-BT SERIES). Based on these identification measurements it is possible to model and parameterize the AVL Battery Simulator™ (BTS-BS SERIES) models. Customer can choose to use simple or advanced battery models.
