Intelligent, Innovative, Intuitive: 'iGeneration' for Future-Oriented Exhaust Emissions Testing

Intelligent, innovative, intuitive: these are the three characteristics that best describe the new product line of emissions testing equipment called “iGeneration“. iGeneration combines the expertise and competence of AVL, Pierburg Instruments and Peus Systems. Thus it is apparent that integration in the new division “AVL EMISSION TEST SYSTEMS“ has been completed. “iGeneration“ stands for the efficient use of highly developed testing equipment and fulfils the latest requirements and future requirements. “iGeneration“ will be launched on the occasion of the Testing Expo Europe in May 2007.

When we started to develop the “iGeneration“, we analyzed the requirements of our customers and the processes at our customers premises in order to be able to execute these tests as smoothly and trouble-free as possible. Especially different areas of application, the installation requirements, the operation of the systems and the operating costs were taken into account. “iGeneration“includes the most valuable functions of past measurement devices and is based on the experience of our customers. The result: We were able to achieve significant improvements with regard to the further development of certain details which, taken as a whole, constitute an added value for development engineers and test technicians.

The AVL AMA i60™ exhaust gas measurement system, the dilution system AVL CVS i60™ , the particle measurement system AVL PSS i60™ and the emission automation software AVL iGEM™ are the first available products of an up-and-coming generation of emissions testing systems.
