CRUISE Data Search and Data ComparisonWhen having a larger number of CRUISE projects or project versions, it is important to keep an overview of the different models and their components. Sometimes the user wants to know the exact differences between two versions, sometimes he has to search for a certain component or even only a part of a component (e.g. a certain map) within his model pool.
As known from the CRUISE Database, the new version supplies the user with two powerful tools for searching for objects and finding out differences.
CRUISE Data SearchWhen loading an object, a search functionality is available now in the load menu. A file can be selected in which the search for the object should take place. Another possibility is to select a folder in which the search should take place. Also sub-directories can be included into the search.
A 'detailed search is also possible': attributes of the search object can be added to a list. For each attribute search criteria can be defined. A selected search result can easily be loaded into the modeling environment of CRUISE.
Data-Comparison ToolThis feature makes it possible to compare two different CRUISE models. After selecting an object (e.g. a component), the differences in the contents between the two models are shown in a viewer. This data can be easily transferred to MS Excel.
