AVL BOOST is an advanced and fully integrated “Virtual Engine Simulation Tool” with advanced models for accurately predicting engine performance, acoustics and the effectiveness of exhaust gas after treatment devices. It supports engine development such that for a given vehicle concept, the required torque and power can be delivered in combination with optimized emissions, fuel consumption and passenger comfort (acoustics and transient behavior).
