60 years of AVL – 60 years of innovation

Providing an essential and continuous contribution to the developments in the automotive industry on the basis of technical innovations, this characterizes the high-tech company AVL, celebrating its 60th anniversary.
The foundation of the AVL List GmbH in 1948 in Graz, Austria, marked the beginning of a business route leading to the largest independent center for research and development of powertrain systems and combustion engines as well as simulation and testing systems in the world.
