Pressure sensor for combustion analysis

Sensor QC43D

The industry standard in size M14 for thermodynamic analysis

The AVL sensor QC43D is the industry benchmark in its size for thermodynamic analysis. This combustion pressure sensor includes active water cooling to ensure a long life and excellent thermodynamic behavior.

The QC43D has an M14-sized mounting thread and is especially suited for large diesel engines. It is designed for cylinder bores above 100 mm, and circumstances where quartz sensors are preferred. The active water-cooling system is designed to protect the sensor’s quartz elements.

Featuring a measuring range from 0 to 200 bar, and three calibrated ranges, it is a sensitive and robust indicating sensor. Shock resistance greater than or equal to 2,000 g and a weight of 34 grams without the cable make this a light, powerful analysis tool.
