State of the Art Chassis Dyno

Our chassis dynos are equipped with modern AVL emissions equipment such as Micro Soot Sensors and Particle Counter which allow us to run stable and repeatable tests for EU6, SULEV, Tier 2 Bin 5 and Tier 2 Bin 2.

Particle Counter

The diagram shows the results of an NEDC test for two different vehicles. Vehicle A shows considerably higher peaks in the particle count than vehicle B. Conventional emissions equipment could not have measured this.


Micro Soot Sensor

A Micro Soot Sensor measures the transient soot concentration in mg/m3 and is suitable for both diesel and gasoline engine, with or without CVS systems. The integrated soot value shows excellent correlation with the particle mass on a CVS filter. The diagram shows the differences between hot and cold NEDC tests.
