description
The vehicle architectures for long-distance battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and for powerful plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) increasingly require highly integrated e-drive systems. These e-axles are the ideal way to meet future needs for high efficiency, robustness and simplified vehicle integration concepts. Consequently, different domains of technologies and manufacturing skills have to share the same housing, jointly function in a harsh environment and need to be optimised in terms of weight, space and performance. In this webinar, Thomas Frey and Frederik Haag will explain how the right combination of e-machine, power electronics, cooling concept and EMC can improve efficiency, weight and size, as well as cost.
