Thesis project in E-Motor & E-Drive Testing and Simulation team (f/m/d)


Tasks

  • Writing a thesis in R&D topics concerning the testing or simulation of electrified drivetrains
  • Frequent reporting and presentation to supervisors and lead engineers

Fields of study

  • Ongoing MSc studies in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge about electrified drivetrains, inverters and E-Motors
  • Knowledge in power electronics is strong added value
  • High motivation to solve complex scientific problems
  • General knowledge of control theory
  • General scripting skills, knowledge of Python is beneficial
  • Experience with simulation methodologies (FEA, PSIM, Simulink, LabVIEW, GT-Power or similar) is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and English knowledge
  • Teamwork skills as well as ability to deep dive independently into technical topics
  • Willingness to work minimum 20 hours per week

Remuneration

The successful completion of the thesis is remunerated with a one-time fee of EUR 2,600 before tax.
According to the Austrian Employment of Foreign Nationals Act it is unfortunately not possible to assign graduate work to third-country citizens (Non-EU citizens) who study at a university abroad.
