AVL Drives Innovation at STA´s Hydrogen for Automotive Event

AVL shared expertise in sustainable automotive solutions by participating in the event "Jornada y exposición: Hidrógeno para Automoción" that united key players to discuss infrastructure, regulation, and innovative vehicles.

On February 27th and 28th, the Society of Automotive Technicians (STA) held its annual Hydrogen in Automotive event that brought together industry experts, researchers, and stakeholders to discuss the future of hydrogen and biogas in the automotive industry.

During the event, Jaime Rodríguez, Mobility Technologies General Manager, delivered an insightful presentation about Development of Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines at AVL. Scheduled on the second day of the event, as part of the Propulsion Systems block, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Jaime shared AVL's vision and developments in this technology, highlighting its potential to reduce emissions and accelerate the transition to more sustainable mobility.

The event, held near Barcelona, also included roundtables, vehicle exhibitions, and discussions on topics such as refueling infrastructure, legal aspects, and the necessary approvals to promote the use of hydrogen in transportation.

This participation reinforced AVL's commitment to innovation in propulsion technologies and solidified its position as a leader in sustainable solutions for the automotive sector.
