AVL participated in the Master's in Automotive Engineering at the University Institute of Automobile Research (INSIA), providing students with cutting-edge simulation tools and expertise.

The INSIA master's program is a specialized course in automotive engineering, focusing on key areas such as Vehicle Design, Hybrid and Electric Vehicles, and Autonomous and Connected Vehicles. It combines academic knowledge with practical industry experience, equipping students with advanced skills in system simulation and propulsion technologies.

Over five sessions, Eduardo Elipe, Senior Simulation Engineer at AVL Ibérica, led the course 'The Vehicle as a System and Its Simulation,' a fundamental part of the master's program. Students had  the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the capabilities and applications of AVL CRUISETM M, a leading tool in multidisciplinary system simulation.

AVL CRUISETM M is a versatile and efficient solution for multiphase system simulation, enabling model-based development with high precision in areas such as engines, drivetrains, electrical and hydraulic systems, and more. Additionally, its compatibility with third-party tools through the standard FMI interface, as well as its multi-level modeling approach, makes this tool an integral solution for addressing the needs of current automotive development.

The INSIA master's program focuses on the development and simulation of alternative propulsion systems, including electric, hybrid, and hydrogen technologies, with the goal of reducing the environmental impact of vehicles and optimizing their performance. Eduardo Elipe's participation further strengthens AVL's connection with the academic field and its commitment to training future specialists in sustainable automotive technologies.
