Metal Technician - Machining

What is it about?

With great skill and extreme precision, you will process surfaces using special tools and computer-controlled machines (CNC). Even sometimes unusual materials have to be prepared in such a way that they can be used for engine and vehicle construction. You are integrated into production from the very beginning, have high quality standards and always work with a focus on results.

What will you learn?

  • Basics of machining and forming technology (focus: turning, milling) of metal and plastic components
  • Setting up, programming and operating computer-controlled production machines according to relevant standards
  • Servicing and maintenance of (CNC) machine tools and production systems for machining materials
  • Safety regulations, norms, environmental and quality standards.
