The topology of the grid to be generated is defined and manipulated by the user directly interacting with the software while the model generation process is running. The software delivers an immediate visual response enabling the engineer to react whenever desired or necessary. It is faster than many automated tools and much faster compared to approaches which rely on pre-defined start topologies. On top of that, AVL FIRE® ESE is the only IC Engine pre-processor which allows wrapping the computational grid with an arbitrary number of high-quality boundary layers of a user-defined thickness.
