/ 167 MOBILE EXHAUST MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AVL AMA i60 Remote/Stand-Alone Units The AMA i60 Remote and Stand-Alone-Units have ��een designed to serve as an e��tension to an e��isting AMA i60 analyzer ��ench ��Remote Unit�� or as a separate small analyzer ��ench ��Stand Alone Unit��. The Remote Unit is controlled ��y the AMA i60, the Stand-Alone Unit by the iGEM AMA bench control software on a separate computer. MEASUREMENT PRINCIPLE Depending on the application, various analyzer types can be used with the AMA i60 Remote/Stand-Alone Unit. Integrated pumps draw in the measurement gas from the sample point. Heated lines and pre-fi lters or sample point selection units are used in the vicinity of the sample point. The analysis of the sample gas is performed using high-end gas analyzers – FI�� for THC and CH4, CLD for NO/NOx, IRD for CO, CO2, ��CL ����uantum cascade laser�� for N2O and/or NH3 measurements and a UV�� analyzer for SO2 measurements. APPLICATION The AMA i60 Remote/Stand-Alone e��haust measurement system is available in the folllowing variations: �� For THC ��and CH4�� and/or NO/NOx measurements �� For CO, CO2 and N2O ��IR���� measurements �� For NH3 or NH3 and N2O measurements �� For N2O measurements with a ��CL analyzer �� For SO2 ��UV���� measurements �� For measurements of o��ygenated components using an Innova analyzer The system is ideally suited for the development and certifi cation of combustion engines in accordance with emissions regulations worldwide, as well as SCR exhaust aftertreatment systems in accordance with European heavy-duty regulations.
