Due to OEMs’ growing demand for comprehensive turnkey solutions for powertrain module and component development, AVL has expanded its range of base powertrain engineering services significantly. “Right now there is a clear trend among many OEMs to outsource large-scale turn-key projects. In response to this trend, AVL has expressed a clear commitment toward taking on a broad range of such series projects,” Helfried Sorger, Head of Base Powertrain Development at AVL, told Focus.
