The AVL Large Engine TechDays were established in 2004 as a forum for information, exchange and discussion for the Large Engine industry community, representing manufacturers, suppliers and users. The conference addresses decision makers as well as technical management and experts, responsible for product development and innovation processes.

New Conference Concept

As in the recent years, the conference will be opened by key notes of leaders and opinion makers from the Large Engines Industry who will share their views on future trends and upcoming challenges around ‘Gas & Dual Fuel’. To complement these perspectives and in order to create a bigger picture on the conference topic, the program will be enriched with “impulse speeches” by renowned personalities from outside the industry. They will cover issues like availability of gas, costs, politics and environment. This conference ‘prelude” will be followed by a number of technical sessions from well-known large engines experts. The two days will again be closed with the traditional panel discussion at the end which will engage the audience in a lively dialog with the panelists.
