Lead Engineer ADAS/AD Software Development m/f/d

Your Responsibilities:
  • Coordination and technical lead of the team „ADAS Proof Of Concept Vehicle“ in Graz
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with the ADAS teams in other affiliates (UK/DE/TR/PEI/LMM/etc) regarding POC vehicles
  • Close cooperation with the teams ‚ADAS Integration Management‘, ‚ADAS System Design‘ and ‚ADAS Testing und Calibration‘ in Graz
  • Responsibility for internal POC vehicles and all official authorizations required to test drive POC vehicles on public roads
  • Define a roadmap inclusive rapid prototyping platform to implement driving automation system features (ACC, LKA, LCA, HWC, Automated Parking, etc) and hardware (sensors, controllers, interfaces, HMI, etc) into POC vehicles
  • Taking the responsibility for the geometrical, functional, electrical and mechanical integration of ADAS systems into POC vehicles including connections to actuation systems
  • Responsible for the „Digital Twin“ and the use of virtual testbeds (MiL, SiL, HiL) alongside the development
  • Coordinate, plan and support marketing activities (customer demonstrations, shows, techdays)
  • Planning, monitoring and leading of R&D projects related to POC vehicles
  • Coordination and skill management of the team members.
  • Project planning/calculation and supporting the offer phase of ADAS POC projects
  • Define, publish and supervise master theses covered within the team
  • Evaluation, testing and benchmarking new hardware in POC vehicles
Your Profile:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Telematics, Electrical or Control Systems Engineering
  • Confident understanding of the AD-Systems (sensors/controls/actuators/electrics)
  • Knowledge of automotive development (requirements/software/integration/testing)
  • Proficient skills of communication, teamworking and leading teams of engineers
  • Analytical and conceptual working attitude
  • Fluent language skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Confident in presentations to management, customers or professionals
  • Experience in the field of ADAS/AD
  • Experience in Agile Software Development
  • Experience in leading software development teams
  • Knowledge of Rapid-Prototyping control units (NVIDIA, dSPACE, Vector)
  • Knowledge of automotive networks topology and technologies (CAN, Flexray, Ethernet)
  • Knowledge of Image Processing and Machine Learning is an advantage (tools and frameworks)
  • Knowledge of platform solutions is an advantage (ROS, ROSII, Apollo, etc)
  • Experience in Project Management is an advantage (control of cost, time and quality)

Annual Remuneration:
Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR60.000,-- . We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
